Where are you seeing Louise Brooks movies? I saw one ( I think it was Lulu? or something like that) on Turner Classic Movies quite a while ago, and I'd love to see more? Your probably just in a city with bigger video stores, but...
Sorry, You're, not your. Great grammr for an english major type..
yes, i think we're quite lucky here in Rochester, NY. we have the George Eastman Dryden Theatre, which shows a great variety of films--from its collection, from visiting filmmakers, or premieres of major restoration projects. here's what they're showing this month.
I guess I could be seeing them, too, because I'm in Rochester...
seriously? that's kind of bizarre...and it makes the listology world seem just a little bit smaller.
and yes, you should definitely get a schedule for the Dryden. it's the best thing goin' round here... i'm going to see Singin' in the Rain this coming Sunday--it should be even better on the big screen. maybe i'll run into you!
I think that's rather bizarre myself, and thanks for the tip!
what do you think of chloe sevigny
i must admit i haven't seen her in anything... i know she's in Kids and also Boys Don't Cry, but i'm not sure i can handle watching either of those. (they're not on my avoid list, but perhaps they could be.) anyway, i am interested in seeing her in something--so if you have other suggestions, i'll take them into consideration.
I'm answering this post four months late Taryn. I can tell you that Boys dont Cry and Kids are her two best movies. If you haven't seen either one yet I suggest heavily you try to. Please dont try to avoid these wonderful films. OK?
chloƫ is als good in Trees Lounge and The Last Days of Disco
YAY Christina Ricci. She's awesome
YAH! You have LILI TAYLOR on your list! I just love her ever since "Dogfight". I'm wondering what is your reasoning?
i've loved lili since i saw her in "i shot andy warhol," and of course she was fabulous in "say anything," mrs. parker," and "pecker." but she's also hit the big time with me for being in my fave show, "six feet under." can the girl do any wrong?
