Robert Duvall is usually considered a great actor but I am not sure you can appreciate his greatness until you look at his career in totality. This Side of Jimmy Stewart and Cary Grant, I am not sure you can find so much quality and so much diversity in one actors career. Character Actor or leading man it doesn't seem to matter. He handles them all. I fudged a little on the list by combinig the Godfathers and putting Lonesome dove on the list. But there is just too much quality and Dove was spectacular. Now if we could just keep him away from doing movies with cars as a main character.
This is my sixth entry into a collection of lists I plan on doing for some of my favorite actors and actresses. Top Ten is self explanatory. Honorable Mention is my sneaky way to get some other good movies mentioned and Danger List is ones to avoid. As always discussion is encouraged. I am only commenting on Films I have seen
