This appears just like my CC series, but there is one crucial distinction. This list is the combined opinions of me and several of my critical friends. We have not attempted to reflect the mainstream of critical opinion. We did not even consult the critics. These are simply our gut reactions, our silly opinions, our thoughtful judgments...

Quite surprised "Sell Out" didn't receive masterpiece status.
Love to see "Leeds" at it's well deserving 5 stars. Few things are more representative of a band and rock in general.
Just my two cents, but I would give "Tommy" and "My Generation" 5 stars as well.
Sell Out was the closest 'classic' to hitting 'masterpiece' level. Hey, I fought for it.
On the other hand, I was one of the hold-outs on Tommy and My Generation. Tommy and My Generation are good, but over-rated IMHO
Great band, though, eh?
Shalom, y'all!

I might eventually buy the Albert Hall DVD, just so I could have some Who footage to watch.
If you want my advice (which I've no idea if you do or not), I'd pick up the terrific The Kids Are Alright DVD first. It is a great documentary with footage that includes Keith Moon and the band closer to its prime...
