Author Comments:
I have seen almost every Al Pacino movie ever made and I would not even consider myself a huge Pacino fan. It is hard to argue his body of work though. It might be hard to rival his 5 straight movies from the early seventies; The 2 Godfather movies, Serpico, Scarecrow and Dog Day Afternoon for longest streak of making great movies in a row.

A list like this goes a long way is swaying me from my Al Pacino ambivalence. He's had quite a career. I can't find anything to object to in your top 10, and I'm pleased to find at least one other person besides me and my parents that didn't hate Scent of a Woman. I didn't like Heat or Dick Tracy, but that's just me.
I've never even heard of Scarecrow; I assume I should rent it?
Oh, since just saw it and I'm about to write it up, I'm thinking I'd swap The Insider and Insomnia on this list. From reading reviews, I didn't like Insomnia as much as most folks.
Yep, I was a little surprised by the true quality in his career. Scarecrow is a very good Pacino Hackman movie that gets lost in the woods of all those other classics he made at that time. Well worth a viewing. Hackman might be a little better than Pacino but it is a very well done movie
