Directors whom I'm greatly anticipating what they do next

- Paul Thomas Anderson...Anything he does is amazing and placing Adam Sandler in a dramatic role for his next movie (alongside Emily Watson no less) is a daring move that should make anyone interested. And the buzz it's been creating for Anderson and Sandler just makes the wait that much more unbearable.
- Woody Allen...Okay, so lately he's been a little...stale, but I still have faith in the old man.
- Wes Anderson...It's going to be tough to top the Royal Tenebaums, but I believe he can do it.
- Kevin Smith...He's done away with Jay and Silent Bob and his whole Jersey chronicles and cast Jennifer Lopez in his next movie. My question is: will the young director, who's shown so much promise, finally sell out?
- Todd Solonz...No American director pushes the envelope so much (at least a popular director) and so it's exciting to see what he'll tackle next.
- Darren Aronofsky...The brilliant creator of Pi and Requiem for a Dream is taking on the next Batman installment. Finally someone who will bring the darkness back into Batman's life.
- Oliver Stone...The king of controversy must have something cooking in his head for his next move.
- Quentin Tarantino...What the hell is this guy up to? For all the long years I've waited for him to put out another feature...it'd better be a damn good film.
- Spike Lee...I've never been a big fan (although Do the Right Thing was fantastic), however, I've read the synposis for his next film and it looks like a good one..and hopefully he can keep his racial grudges at bay for once.
- Robert Altman...I've never been a fan of his at all (only cause I've never seen a movie by him) but I respect him and if he's got another film in him, I'm eager to see what it's all about.
- Francis Ford Coppola...I'll forgive him for the Rainmaker (although a decent movie, but come on, it wasn't for Coppola) and even Jack as long as he doesn't completely forget that the movies he puts out do reach the public and the public is aware of his previous films.
