GREAT LIST BUT I THINK you should add orson welles to this list, because Citizen Kane was beautiful and inspired many of the people on your list.

Well you are certainly correct that Orson Welles deserved a Best Director award for "Citizen Kane", a wonderful movie. However, he was at least nominated for it, and this list is reserved for directors who have never even received an Academy nomination.

But for a list of the most notorious Academy snubs of all time, Welles for "Kane" would definitely be appropriate.
