James Cameron, Martin Scorsese, and Rob Reiner all had roles in Albert Brooks's The Muse. Oh, and Scorsese also did a voice in Shark Tale.

Billy Wilder got some good appearances out of his director buds. Sunset Blvd. features Erich von Stroheim, Buster Keaton, and Cecil B. DeMille, while Stalag 17 had Otto Preminger in a primary role.

Scorsese was also in Robert Redford's Quiz Show.
