Author Comments:

While all good books should be treasured whether fiction, non-fiction, literary, scientific, social commentary, history, or countries. This list emphasizes those that would come first in my list. Or, putting first the things that matter most before the things that matter least. That applies, particularly, to the first five books on the list. If space were available to take to a desert island, many more books would be added for a much more diversified library, including a wide variety of secular books.
