...Frank Darabont and Steven Speilberg were given $1 billion to make 3 films adapted from Tim Zahn's Star Wars 'Thrawn' trilogy.
...Batman Begins, King Kong, Sin City, and Superman Returns were released tomorrow.
...Keanu Reaves didn't play Neo in The Matrix.
...Pixar would come out with a new film every 6 months.
...horror movies were scary.
...a well-scripted, imaginatively-directed $200 million live-action Arabian Nights movie was made.
...Paul Walker made his living as an accountant.
...any of my friends ever watched a movie made before 1980.
...more 1910s-1930s movies were on DVD. Okay, more movies period.
...people went to see Charlie Kaufman movies.
...I had time to watch the 700+ films on my 'to see' lists.
...movies like Starsky & Hutch, Dodgeball, and Anchorman were funny more than 30% of the time.
...most Michael Bay and Jerry Bruckheimer movies were any good.
...Godzilla: Final Wars actually looked like the promotional image they first put out.
...Superman hadn't traveled back in time by reversing the rotation of the earth in Superman: The Movie.
...Sofia Coppola hadn't been cast in Godfather Part III.
...Charlton Heston didn't play Mike Vargas in Touch of Evil.
...Kill Bill had not been split in two.
...the Spider-Man movies didn't suck.
...Titanic (1997) had the story and characters of Titanic (1953) and the 'money shots' of Titanic (1997).
...I had the hard work ethic to actually write any of the screenplays I've dreamed up.
...people would go to see Terry Gilliam flicks.
...movies stars who wanted to try a music career would make anything but super-mainstream pop.
...someone would make a 'Legend of Zelda' movie.
...the 00s had an action star.

No thats a Lie ive seen a bunch of b4 1980 movies some include
Taxi Driver,Dog Day Afternoon,Batman Movie but not many really.

Have you seen 'Dog Day Afternoon'?

when i saw it, it amazed me, it was sooo well done, pacino was on the best form ive seen him, a top movie.

Bless you for the Charlton Heston complaint about him in Touch of Evil, bless you. That movie is incredible, but his aura bogs it down (though it is still perfect).

Lol. I still think the whole movie is slightly overrated, but Charlton Heston was definitely the worst part of it.

My vote would go to Reeves in the Matrix (which I probably think is a better film than most people, I guess).
