Oh, where does the time go...

Swedish fish are awesome! They contain carnauba wax, the same ingredient that's in lipstick.
I came across this comment from of yore. So were you being serious? To me eating a lipstick ingredient sounds kind of gross. Just curious...
I read Gleick's Chaos back shortly before college, and even if I was too dumb to comprehend everything, I really liked it.
Are you enjoying it?

I like Gleick's writing style. He can make the most complicated subjects seems borderline understandable. So far it's been good. The only other book I've read by him is the biography of Richard Feynman which was awesome.
Gleick writes popular science, a field which is bubbling under becoming a huge sensation. A few more writers of his level, and it could explode...
I also dig Stephen Jay Gould.

i'm more of a counter strike guy myself. i tried Day of Defeat but couldn't get into it. i also still play HL deathmatch. and i thought that HL2 mod "Hidden" was good.
Yes, I've played a ton of CS, too. I really like DoD because it is more strategy and teamwork drive. You should give it another try sometime. My recommendation would be to get on a server with a handful of people with Friendly Fire off just to start. Don't go wading into a huge battle because that would turn most newcomers off.
I'll have to check out the "Hidden" mod. Thanks for the tip.
