So as far as defining "cross-pollination", does it encompass sampling in songs?

I think at some point "sampling" may be included but there's so much of that I think for the time being I'm going to stick with song and album titles. Eventually I'll expand to lyrics and sampling.

Elvis Presley Blues - Gillian Welch ?

Although you could almost do a whole Elvis section unto itself: "Wendy" by The Odds, "Calling Elvis" by Dire Straits, etc
