  • yahoo! weekly pick - Craftygal - Taking a page from the venerable doyenne (or diva) of domesticity, Ms. Martha Stewart, the crafty gals at this monthly advice hub offer up ingenious household tips, tricks, and activities to spur the feminine creative goddess within. Breaking up the chatty coffeetable-esque musings and reportage into features -- scraps, fridge, porch, table, stump, and travels -- the writers share a practical, fun, and somewhat kitschy approach to living the good life. With the handy-dandy archive of musings past, getting crafty should not be a problem.

CraftyGal encourages you to indulge in some free thinking and creative moments. The fabulous five behind the site are looking to encourage entrepreneurship in women by offering stories of crafty projects run by the fairer sex with personal essays from some of them to inspire the home bug. as seen and heard via the aforementioned publications and media venues, visit craftygal today!

Very cool. I still visit on a regular basis. I even signed up to join the email list, but, sniff, I've yet to receive a single missive....

Still, a great and fun site. Congrats!

Shalom, y'all!

oh i forgot to ask you, did you get to last craftygal bulletin, lbangs? one should've been sent out a few weeks ago when the last issue went up. they ended up switching to a quarterly zine which is why there hasn't been a whole lot of online action lately. (possible book project in the works--we'll see what pans out.)

also, as an FYI i'm taking a wee step back from the web project (to more of an occasional contributor) so you won't always see stuff with my byline, but i'm still involved--just so y'all know what's up. thanks for bein supportive, fellas!

Yes, I did. Thanks!

I enjoy the bulletin and the site. I've even nabbed a food idea or two from it!

Shalom, y'all!
