- moulin rouge (damn, this movie had it goin on in the way of costumes. it better win something come oscar time!)
- gossip (it didn't have much else actually, but everyone was really pretty.)
- velvet goldmine (glitter and bright colors everywhere!)
- matrix (mmm, all that "leather"--and those boots trinity wears!)
- cruel intentions (tell me ryan phillipe's wardrobe isn't stunning--and of course he wears it well.)

AKA visual delights: there's something stimulating about these flicks--outlandish costumes, stunningly beautiful sets, etc.--just simply leave the mouth agape.

Performance, with Mick Jagger.
Possibly one of the most opulent interiors in film history. Some details: an old-world kitchen, with a tank for live fish for the table (an eel tries to make a getaway during some dialog), a bed with a canopy made of old petticoats (trophies, Mick?), quite possibly the world's entire collection of Moog synthesizers at the time (when you see them, remember that each one of those puppies cost $4500 *each*), and a plethora of Asian/North African/European antiques, textiles, jewels, etc. Wow!
I haven't even mentioned the costumes.
I'd like to live there.
YES!!! YES!!! YES!!! Finally someone who has seen that movie!!! I'd like to live there to. ;)
I loved the costumes for Hedwig (yes, I know I'm obsessed, leave me alone). Did you check out that dress made entirely out of wigs in the "Wig in a Box" scene.
i didn't catch the dress, but don't worry--i'm sure i'll be watching it again soon! (no need to apologize for obsessions, btw--especially here at listology; you're among the most obsessed folks there are...)
I really love Hedwig and the Angry Inch, that's one of my favorite movies......
