hey amie, i'm going to see catherine wheel at water st. on tuesday--were they a good show?!
I don't really remember them much, but I remember not really liking the show, because it wasn't like the Violent Femmes, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, or some other band I was into in 1992. However, I am sure I would enjoy them much more nowadays, as my taste in music has grown to be decidedly high in English influence. I forgot to put Kitchens of Distinction on my list yesterday, as I forgot the name of the band, but remembered when I heard one of their songs on WBER this morning; a song that, if I didn't like then, I like a lot now!

Sadly, I don't guess they'll be tearing through Oklahoma any time soon. :(

I was disappointed both times I've seen Ween because they only played their more rockish songs and not the trippy stuff I love...I imagine, though, it would hard to be tripping on acid, stoned, sucking in helium, and sampling the sounds from Atari while on stage.
Nah... I do it all the time. It's my job, really.

Much to my surprise, I just found out that Ween is coming to Tulsa.
I suspect, despite the disappointing review, I will still go. I never suspected the band would ever venture here.
