Author Comments:

I hope this list helps when making choices on concerts. These are my opinions that are unbiased. You might not agree with all my opinions. I love lots of types of music and love going to concerts.

"Paul McCartney - Closest to the Beatles that I will ever get to see in my lifetime."

I can recommend some of the Beatles tribute bands:

The (cavern) Beatles
The Bootleg Beatles

I have seen both and they are both excellent in different ways.

The (cavern) Beatles looked and sounded fantastic, and they had an 'edge' that you expect from a live concert, but they didn't play some of my favourites (Let It Be, Hey Jude, Imagine, My Sweet Lord), and they missed the opportunity to play some great live singalong songs such as Hey Jude, Yellow Submarine, All You Need Is Love.

The Bootleg Beatles played all of those songs, but it was more like a stage show than a live music concert, but it still looked and sounded great.

There are many others that might be worth checking out - I fully intend to.

The Counterfeit Beatles

Fab Beatles

1964 the tribute (USA)

BeatleMagic (USA/Canada)

Thanks for the info. I will try to check them out when they come to Atlanta.
