This year will be a barren year for concerts as the Carling Academy in Glasgow is fast becoming the most popular place for mid-size artists to play. Fine venue but the problem is that ticket prices are ridiculously high. Case in point, £25 to see Weezer. I like them and all but I don't want to give Rivers that much money.
Same with the Streets and the Chemical Brothers so far this year.
Dear bands, you're going to have to be really damn good if you expect me to pay that.
For that reason, I think I'm going to miss quite a few bands this year but those that I do go to (and problem not at the Academy) I'll stick down here.

GASP! I had no idea you went to ATP. I'm...so jellus I could faint. :)
