Of course, this all depends on how you determine pagination, which will vary by edition and the inclusion or exclusion of pre and post-textual materials (introductions,afterwords,etc.). I'm guessing that as the goal is thickness, you would want to include those things for the highest possible page count.

So some more for you:

And just to point out how much difference edition makes, the hardcover of Neal Stephenson's Cryptonomicon is 928 pages, but the paperback is 1168!

You are right.
The number of pages for the books suggested by myself are actually either out of the original version or out of the German translation.
