- Shakespeare and After - I'd never read Shakespeare, or discussed much literature, so this was a lovely cherry-popping experience all around. Small, smart class and a good professor. I'd never before experienced the richness of great literature like this.
- Intro to Counseling Psychology - My intro to the various schools of psychotherapy. Interesting; nothing special.
- Intro to Psychological Measurement and Data Analysis - Terrible. A basic stats class. Boring lectures. Worse, the chosen textbook is useless. It's blatantly incorrect every couple of pages, so the professor says, "I know the book taught you this, but this is how you actually do it" a few times every lecture. "Then why the **** did you choose the textbook?"
- Intro to Research Methods and Statistics - lots of identical material to the above class, but this is the one I pay attention in because the professor is great, the assignments are challenging, and the lectures are engaging.
- Intro to Creative Nonfiction Writing - Awful. Boring discussions, confusing or contradictory assignment specifications, wasteful class time...
