This is the first listening for me and they are all new songs, the 1984-F track is an early version of the originally released 1980-F. They still exsist today and a DVD has been released. If you don't know them or only their hits, I suggest you check them out, not specially this release to start off with but their first brilliant one.

23. April 5 Who Wants To Live Forever (Live In Japan) - Queen (8/10) A very well recorded concert and I presume it is not a compilation of various Japanese concerts though no date is mentioned on this one. Great selection of songs, makes you wish you were there. Why not a 10/10 well it hasn't been released officially so no such recordings can get full marks.

35. April 7 Aerial - Kate Bush (8/10) No one but Kate Bush could write such a beautiful song about a washing machine in Mrs. Bartolozzi. Lovely songs on this 2 CD release of 2005 each having a seperate title "A Sea Of Honey" and "A Sky Of Honey". Some songs take a bit of getting used to but grow on you after repeated listenings. Isn't this often the case with masterpieces. Think I'll give Mrs. B. another listen!

Not only his music but his lyrics are very deep, some very funny like "Skeletons In My Closet" but all songs have stood the test of time and sound today as exciting as they once did when I first heard them. Pity the last track on the sleeve "Look At You Over There" was not included on the album or the CD. The segway of Skeletons going into "You Want It, You Got It" is brilliant. Bob Dylan once said what a great talent Alice was and that he thought his lyrics were among the best he has ever heard. Need I say more!

Yay for the Ta-Dah and Ram love!

Two undervalued albums, as far as I'm concerned.

Also glad to know I'm not the only one who doesn't go gaga over Surrealistic Pillow.

Diamond Dogs - love that...
I love Soft Parade too one of those albums I dig out once every few years and think how I'd forgotten how good it is!
