Author Comments:
Just trying to document what I'm listening to on my 25-mile round trip commute to work, (and see if it provides any insight into what kind of week I'm having.) Hopefully will be updated weekly.

"Team Boo" is the perfect driving album.
Indeed it is - especially of the "late night" variety. It's interesting looking back on my commute choices how few actually are good driving CDs, but I've yet to actually find a discerable pattern in what leads me to pick them out for car listening.
Out of curiosity, what would your best-of 2004 list look like?
Or are you saving it for the end of the year?
I have so many things on order or that I'm still trying to digest that I'll probably hold off until the end of the year. I'm betting, however, that our lists will have at least five entries in common. :)
Excellent choices for november
Thank you! I seem to be carrying over the '80s theme from the previous week. Something about the election must have made me wistful for my Reagan-era childhood. :)
a friend of mine gave me ted leo and the pharmacists' hearts of oak as a gift... i had never heard of them, and i still haven't listened to it... figured first time i heard of them aside from my friend who loves em i'd take a listen to it... probably should get around to it.
Perusing your list of favorite artists, I'd be interested in hearing your take on Ted Leo. Hearts of Oak is a fantastic album, but it's quite a bit different than the music on your lists.
I'll be seeing Ted and the crew this Sunday in Lawrence, Kansas! He has quite the reputation as a live act, so I'm very excited.
Careful Slee, listening to Minor Threat could bring on a case of road rage!
Hee, no doubt! I bet you can't guess what happened the day before I decided to listen to them on my commute...
