- Angelina Jolie let's forget this whole "home wrecking" accusations and let's enjoy miss Jolie's charms
- Rachael Leigh Cook yes, she's all that but she was even sexier as a pussycat
- Shannyn Sossamon you know it was just a movie because in real life no man could have waited 40 nights and not give in to her
- Ashley Judd basically splits her acting between thrillers and romantic comedies and is good at both
- Marisa Tomei it's time to end the controversy already... yes, her oscar for My Uncle Vinny was fully deserved
- Denise Richards showed much flesh in Wild Things but showed a real acting ability in Starship Troopers
- Winona Ryder has not always handled her real life with grace but has never failed on the silver screen

You got it right on Rachel Leigh Cook in Josie and the Pussycats, especially when she was playing guitar and singing sugary-sweet power pop. Almost enough to make me forget the original cartoon Josie...
Johnny Waco (who would love to be serenaded by the Pussycats)
ah ah a fellow Pussycat fan... I must point out I've never seen the 70's Hanna-Barbera-produced cartoon because it never was broadcast on TV over here but I've read some of their adventures from Archie Comics over time and it seems the movie does not stray too far from the original concept and is certainly quite faithfull to the original characters... the only exception being that Melody-Tara Reid doesn't sing when she speaks in the movie and the songs written for the movie are much better than what transpires from the comics.
You're absolutely right about the songs in the film; I usually get annoyed when a song is used more than once in a movie, but even when the Pussycats sang "Three Small Words" (I think that's the title) for the seventeenth time, I still loved it. One exception though: the movie left out the theme song to the cartoon, which is sublime, "Josie and the Pussycats/Long tails, and ears for hats!" Doesn't get much better than that...
And you may disagree (but probably not, since she is not a brunette), but Tara Reid is not a good actress, and definitely could not hold her own with Rachel Leigh and Rosario.
Johnny Waco (who has often wished he had a long tail)
the cartoon theme is used in the final credits of the movie and is on the cd soundtrack... and of course I agree with Tara Reid being completely crap as an actress but hey, that's the 21st century for you... a completely useless human being like, say, Paris Hilton can become a massive worldwide celebrity in a few weeks... at least Tara Reid is trying to do something worthwile with the time and fresh air she wastes on this planet.
We have Miss Dazzling Smile - Denise Richards (especially in Starship Troopers) in common, but I expect she's on a lot of Hotties lists.
She's sexy enough to force her chubby hubby into rehab and to turn him into a decent father to their children... So, yes, miss Richards's stock has risen in my hollywood stock exchange, both professionnaly and on her private-life level...
