- Falling Man - Don DeLillo (B-): Not his best by any means. I did really enjoy the descriptions of the male character's relationship with the game of poker. Pretty much nailed my feelings about it.
- You Don't Love Me Yet - Johnathan Lethem (C+) - By anyone else this would be a pretty decent read, but for Lethem it's a let down. Nowhere near the heights of Fortress Of Solitude or Motherless Brooklyn. Namechecks The Verlaines which is impressive.
