  1. Bloody Bones by Laurell K Hamilton. (Jan 1) Book 5 of the Anita Blake series. Very good book, don't read past about page 250 unless you have time to finish the book.
  2. When Bad Things Happen to Good People by Harold S Kushner (Jan 5) This book was incredibly healing. Explains so much about why things happen and what to do about it. It is a religious book, written by a Rabbi, but I think the concepts are loose enough to apply to most Gods.
  3. A Breath of Snow and Ashes by Diana Gabaldon (Jan 17) This is book 6 of the Outlander series. The outlander series is tied with the wheel of time by Robert Jordan as my all-time favorite series. I love these books. Gabaldon's style is amazing. These books have a little something for just about everyone. except kids. DEFINITELY not for kids. I can't wait for the next book!
  4. The Killing Dance by Laurell K Hamilton. (Jan 19) Book 6 of the Anita Blake series. Good book, don't read the end in public because you might embarass yourself.
  5. Traditions & Encounters: A Global Perspective on the Past Volume II by Jerry H Bentley & Herb F Ziegler (Jan 23) Required history textbook.
  6. Tiny Dinos and the Best Place in the World by Guy Gilchrist (Jan 24)
  7. Blue's Clues: A Visit From the Tooth Fairy by sarah Albee (Jan 24)
  8. SpongeBob and the Princess by David Lewman (Jan 24)
  9. SpongeBob: Hands Off! by David Lewman (Jan 24)
  10. Dinosaur by C Bazaldua (Jan 24)
  11. Panda Bear's Secret by Michaela Muntean (Jan 24)
  12. Winnie the Pooh and the Pebble Hunt (Jan 24)
  13. Tarzan (Jan 24)
  14. Sleeping Beauty (Jan 24)
  15. The Lion King (Jan 24)
  16. The Jungle Book (Jan 24)
  17. Quick and Easy Dog Training (Feb 09) Good basic training book. Points out a lot of common mistakes and breaks training down into a simple format.
  18. Shantaram by Gregory David Roberts (Feb 27) This is a fantastic book. Story of an Australian fugitive's extraordinary experiences in Bombay and elsewhere. It is a bit slow in some places, and hard to read in others, but definitely worth it.
  19. Legend of the Golden Valley by Manoj Das (2-Mar) A very nice Indian fairy tale.
  20. Torments of the Traitor by Ian Irvine (18-Mar)First book in the third series about Santhenar. I found this very different from the others, and a perhaps a bit less riveting, though I think it may just be leading up to something really big in the rest of the series. I really like Maelys though. She's a great character.
  21. A Thousand Splendid Suns by Khaled Hosseini (23-Mar)Five stars. This is an incredibly moving book. It makes you smile, cry, and shake your head. I will warn you, some parts are very sad and some parts are very graphic. Its worth it though. One of those books that helps you take a new perspective.
