How did you like One Hundred Years of Solitude?

I am going to be starting it later today.

You're not asking me, but that might be my favorite novel of the 20th century...

lbangs: We might disagree on this particular book, but I'm glad to see you love Catcher in the Rye. It is one of my favorites as well.

I inhaled that book. I love it.

Shalom, y'all!

It was definitely an interesting read, although certainly not one of my favorite novels. It is very mystical, fairy-taleish, and I prefer to be more involved with my main characters. Many of the characters in this book just come and go in strange ways. Overall a fascinating book, but I doubt I will read it again any time soon.
