Author Comments:

Trying to cut down on reading multiple books at a time, so I'm reading more short stories so I don't get bored. I still read a book on tape, a graphic novel and a regular novel but I used to read 2 novels. It seems to be working out better.

What'd you think of Possession? It took me awhile to finish because I got bogged down in the middle in the letters.

I new I would read it sooner or later but I was worried that there would be a bunch of literary references that I wouldn't get. But then I heard the movie was coming out and I was going to be driving to Michigan so I was a bit less intimidated by the huge number of tapes.

I thought it was kind of slow and definitely too long. Not as romantic as I pictured it and one can only take so much beautiful writing. I'd say drop 150 pages and it would have been much better.
