He enjoys the Christmas books all year long. The ..."If You Give.." books are recommended for younger children and we have been reading them for several years..and he never seems to tire of them. These books make great gift books also.

I haven't read all of these, but I do know that The Polar Express and Grinch are excellent! Your seven-year-old has excellent taste!
But of course, you already knew that, right? ;)
Shalom, y'all!

Hi and thanks for replying. He does have excellant taste! Thanks:)
While I haven't read The Polar Express, I really enjoy Chris Van Allsburg in general (The Widow's Broom leaps to mind as a good one, and my daughter really likes Jumanji). If you go in for great artwork in your children's books, you should also check out David Wiesner (Tuesday is a wordless wonder, but I haven't seen anything of his that I haven't been impressed by) and Graeme Base (Animalia and The Water Hole are probably my favorites, followed closely by The Eleventh Hour).
Thanks for the recomendations! I'll definitely check these out. BTW the Polar Express is an excellant Christmas story for all ages.

Tom Hanks thinks so. He is making a film out of it.
