Ok, so Chicken Soup with Rice is only a poem in book form, but it was too cute!

Chicken Soup with Rice , how marvelous, the beloved Jennie makes her appearance in December. The Nutshell Library is fantastic... especially when you read it in it's original format. All four of them are about kids being kids (or alligators being alligators.) Perhaps it's not surprising that the next book he wrote was Where the Wild Things Are .
