Books I'm reading, that I'm happy about.
- The Power Broker, by Robert Caro
"The Power Broker" is widely regarded as one of the best biographies ever written. It's about Robert Moses, the man who ruled public works in New York City for 40 years, and who created a large portion of the major expressways, parks and bridges that New Yorkers use. It's a very interesting look into the nature of urban politics, and how it can be abused and controlled. It's taken me months to get almost halfway through the book, but I'm definitely planning on reading it all the way through.
