Oh wait wait wait. I thought The Stand where Laura San Giacomo ran around all crazy eyes did not suck. What was it missing for you?
And have you seen the original BBC television version of Hitchhiker's Guide?
Admittedly, I haven't sat through the entire Stand, but while I didn't think it sucked it wasn't satisfying for me as an adaptation. I couldn't tell you why right now, been too long since I saw it.
