Hi Sidrah,
How did you find A Thousand Splendid Suns. It's on my reading list but I don't know when will I get down to it. I loved the first book by Khalid Husseini though.

heya Saddaf,
i didnt enjoy 1000 suns as much as hosseini's former book. while the former is endearing, and a story that grows green on you, 100 suns seemed rather bland and forced. but its still worth a read. i do love the afghani culture hosseini describes so well, though :)

I'v heard the same from some friends of mine that it isn't as good at TKR. I won't be reading it till March probably, because I"v several books to read in Feb for some of my group reads etc.

Did you like 'The Importance of Being Earnest'. Have you read other plays by Oscar Wilde? I find his writings really witty!

wilde is a personal favorite :)

I read Siddartha, too. Well, listened to the audio book. I really enjoyed it. I read Snow Falling on Cedars some years ago and I really enjoyed it too.

On the other hand, I read Animal Farm many years ago and thought it was pretty stupid.

Quality list you have.
