Saka, i just recently discovered bjork, and immediately love her. i wasn't quite sure whether or not to include Selmasongs, because it's a soundtrack. but i do think its as good as any of her other work. do you know when she might have another album out?
If you switch the places of Post and Debut, you'd pretty much have my list here. Actually, I'd be a bit at a loss over whether to place Post or Telegram over the other. Telegram is certainly one of the more successful remix albums of its time, and I favor certain versions from it over Post. Post does have Hyperballad, however, so...
I'm probably gonna have to change the order of this list several times. I like all of her music so much.
Recently I found some songs on napster (confession time) that I like a lot, but I haven't seen them on any albums. JohnnyW said they might be on import singles. I plan on checking into it soon. Her next album is supposed to come out in August.
Bjork is a genius. I love all her solo shit. However, the album which I would consider to be the best one she was involved in would be The Sugarcubes "Life's Too Good". That is the quintessential Bjork example to me.
I agree with your top two rankings. But I think Selmasongs should be number 3 and the other two moved down. I'm a major Bjork fan.
