Author Comments:
Chances are if you were born in the late 70s or 80s and you're a guy, then you'll like these shows. A lot of them are on in syndication, or else you can buy the seasons on DVD.

Good choices! Ok, I was born in 1990, but I still think this list is accurate. :) How about Simpsons, Family Guy, etc.?
Yeah, I wasn't sure whether or not to include those shows as I already have a list of my favorite animated series. Animated comedies are sort of in between the realm of animated series and regular television so I guess I should put them in both.
Admittedly I've commented before, but I must say it again: this list is really spot on, I enjoy nearly every single show listed here.
Thanks, Wezzo. The hardest part is trying to rank them against each other as each one has something different to offer. Right now I'm trying to decide which series to buy seasons on DVD to take to Iraq. The key element is to get a show that is enjoyable to watch several times over.
I can't believe this list doesn't have more comments. It's a nearly spot-on list, and as close as you can get to summing up the viewing habits of a decade's worth of men. I watch probably 2/3 of the shows on here!
