I finally saw The Insider last weekend. My, I was pleased.
And Crowe wins an Oscar for Gladiator? I don't even think I'm going to watch the Oscars anymore. They have dipped into Grammy-like silliness. What a pathetic joke.
As jgandcag asks, have you seen Sea of Love yet? Not bad, and a great comeback for Pacino...
The Insider was great. I thought Pacino was really good in it, especially as he deviated from his usual personality when playing roles. I have problems with the Oscars, but they have a loooong way to go to hit the rock bottom of the Grammies. The Oscars at least usually nominate actually good films, even if they aren;t the ones I would have chosen; the Grammies, however, regularly nominate albums and songs that just out and out suck!
I have not seen Sea of Love. I will get to it as soon as possible...
No Carlito's Way? I thought that was a tremendous film, along with Scarecrow and Heat
Carlito's Way would be a step below, I haven't seen Scarecrow or And Justice for All..., and I'm not as big on Heat as most listologists are.

Have you seen Sea of Love? always thought that was some of his best work. No Godfather either?
