Groups are NOT listed in rank order - just simply the best!

Ever hear of a band called the Rolling Stones?
Mammas and Papas - You've must be kidding!!!
The Mammas and the Papas may seem lame now, but they really had a very new vision of what harmony was like in a rock group. And I like them, they are also a lot of fun!
The Four Seasons? One of the greatest rock groups of the 60's? You have got to be kidding. Ever heard of The Doors?
i have to agree with most of this...except, Auntie M. you must excuse Santana for being so darn BAD these days. they used to be good, but have you heard their new single? something has gone wrong for SURE!
You know, I never really appreciated The Mamas and the Popas until fairly recently...I saw the M&P episode of Behind The Music on VH1 and that sort of hooked me. I guess that John Phillips really knew how to party.
Not only that, but Mama Cass really knew how to sing, don't you think? In contrast, apparently Michelle could barely stay in tune. Too bad the Ms and Ps lasted for only a few years before imploding.
