I have a rather eclectic taste in movies, but I must say that 80's movies are my absolute faves...

What about The Gremlins? Surely they belong here, as long as you don't ever feed
them after midnight. :)

That's funny that your brother gave you Project X; my sister gave me The Breakfast Club...

You know, I used to love Gremlins when I was growing up, but I saw it again a couple of years ago and was rather disappointed. I have a great Gizmo stuffed animal, but I think I'll have to save Gremlins for a different list.

One 80's movie I've been wanting to rewatch is Cloak and Dagger. I haven't seen that since I was about eight or so, and I'm curious to see if it still holds my interest or not.

Does this have anything to do with Cloak and Dagger being set in San Antonio? I remember enjoying it as a kid and wouldn't mind seeing it again, although I wonder if I would like it nearly as much.

What are your memories of Harry and the Hendersons? ;)

I had forgotten that Cloak and Dagger takes place in San Antonio. Now I really have to watch it again. :)

I don't know if I've ever seen Harry and the Hendersons, although that sounds vaguely familiar. Was Harry a monster or something?

Yes, there is a chase scene through the Riverwalk. Scary!

And Harry is a bigfoot! the family hits him with their car and then takes him in. It's quite emotional...

I've gotta check out the chase scene through the Riverwalk...I wouldn't want to miss that!

Knowing your fascination with bigfoot, I'm not surprised you were touched by Harry and the Hendersons... :) I will have to check that out, as well.
