I was a hendrix diehard fan. When i saw reggie wooten play i was changed forever. His guitar playing is more complicated and faster than anything hendrix could do. hendrix i still love and cream with clapton is one of my favorite bands but his guitar playing is unbeliveable
Jaco is WAY better than Vic is, or will be. Iwthout Jaco, there'd be no Victor Wooten. However, I wouldn't call either rock bassists, but JAzzers. I'd Mr. Claypool's got the rock category all wrapped up. But Jaco paints pictures with not only his solos, but his basslines. He sets the mood like no other and can fly like mad on a fretless bass. I'm sorry, Vic's got nothing on him. He's just a show-off
