My Girl is a masterpiece! When Culkin gets stund by the bees that was so sad! :( lol it was one of my childhood favourites.

Yeah, I guess I was a little harsh on it. It's been awhile since I've seen it, and I guess I was mostly biased against Mcauley Culkin.

You're absolutely right about The Shipping News. Utter pants. Even the novel bugged me, though, so I think I was doomed not to like it. Whoever thought it would be a good idea to let Kevin Spacey play Quoyle should be run out of the business.

I'm only mildly surprised to see Citizen Kane ranked so low. The storytelling was a bit overblown, but its importance lay more in its filmic technique than in its plot.

I rank it so low probably because I heard how it was the #1 AFI movie and it had all this praise, but when I saw it I was more bored than by any movie I'd ever seen. I didn't even finish watching it and I never walk out in the middle of a film.

Hi Baker. I stumbled onto your lists today. I wanted to write you a quick note to express my thanks for all your work and say you've done a wonderful job. Two films you might like for the Drama list -- "Five Easy Pieces" with Jack Nicholson and "On the Waterfront" with Marlon Brando. The films have two of the greatest moments in Hollywood history -- Nicholson's "side order of wheat toast" moment at the roadside restaurant and Brando's "I could of been a contender" monologue.
