These aren't in any order other than which came first in my mind.
I realise Madonna might be a little premature, but I love it already.

I downloaded Madonna's song, Music, off the internet weeks ago, then bought the disc when it came out on Tuesday. I love it already too, but was a little disappointed that the song Music isn't the same recording as the internet version, which I like better. And I can't burn the internet version onto a CD because of the copyright license!!
I also love Tori Amos' To Venus and Back...one of her best so far.
The internet track you downloaded is probably one of the ones available on the CD Remix Single. There are two (2) singles CDs available: 1. Music album & radio edits and 2. Remixes with great versions of Music by Deep Dish and Groove Armada (to name just two).
After nearly contiunuous "Music" listening this weekend, I can only say "I love it even more." Some of the songs are truly well outside Madonna's usual repitoire, and demonstrate an interesting confidence on her end.
In terms of Tori Amos, I find that I either love her albums, or find them a complete washout, (as the table demonstrates, below):
Little Earthquakes - LOVE
Pretty Good Year - Washout
Boys For Pele - Washout
From The Choir Girl Hotel - LOVE
To Venus And Back - LOVE
I guess I could even say that I love Tori 60% of the time.
So what came first--the list or the statement? :-) Referring of course to loving Tori 60% of the time!
Thanks for the lead on Music--when I get to a city with a real record store, I'll check it out.
The List. While composing it, I realized there was a little Math Humour to be had. Couldn't resist--who could?
Hmmm...math humor...I might be able to resist! :-)
Why would there be Philip Glass jokes?
Yes, why? I don't get it. Philip Glass rules, and I can't think of any truly clever plays on his name...
