Most of these animated episodes (and the movie Batman: Mask of the Phantasm) are superior, in my opinion, to ANY of the live-action Batman movies.
Even though I have seen almost every episode of the Animated Series, I can hardly remember any of them. Apart from that, I have watched all of them in German, therefore I don't know the English titles.
Nevertheless, I think I remember Heart of Ice and Nothing to Fear.
What about the Riddler origin story? (don't ask me the English title now.)
BTW: Who's your favourite villain?
P.S.: Did you never collect the action figurines of the Animated Series?
It's been so long, I'm not sure I can remember the title of the Riddler's origin story, either.
I never collected action figures, no.
Favorite villain, hmmm...
I can't say I really have a favorite, only favorite moments. Like, for example, Batman's battle with Bane atop a building near the end of Over the Edge, all of Mr. Freeze in Heart of Ice, the Mad Hatter's desperate plea for understanding during the epilogue of Perchance to Dream, The Joker's cruelty to Harley Quinn in Mad Love and Harley Quinn's reaction to it. There are a few villains I usually don't care for, but most of the ones I like have several really, really great moments.
I think this calls for a re-watch of some of these favorites (I've got all the TV-rips on burned DVDs).
Great picks, mein. "Heart of Ice" is definitely one of the best. I also really liked "Beware the Gray Ghost," "The Laughing Fish," "Joker's Favor," and "Almost Got 'Im." And I thought that "A Better World" from the Justice League series was outstanding. I haven't seen much of Batman:TNBA or Batman Beyond.
