And no, I don't like MASH!

Fantastic list. This approaches mirroring my own thoughts on Altman's work.
Shalom, y'all!
L. Bangs (another MASH non-enthusist)
M*A*S*H* should be on here. I think anyway.
I'll give MASH another chance. Someday.

I admire your list greatly. Yes, I am a M*A*S*H fan, and I would have placed it after your top two, which are also my own two favorite Altman films.
I must admit, I like Cookie's Fortune and Kansas City, but there are other Altman works I enjoy even more. Tanner '88 was made for HBO, but I would probably rank it number five after your top two, M*A*S*H, and McCabe and Mrs. Miller. Have you had the chance to see Tanner?
Vincent and Theo is also a quite good film.
Very good. I'm looking forward to reading your other lists.
Thanks for the post. No I haven't ever seen Tanner; I don't know if I'd even heard of it before, but I'd certainly like to see it now. Unfortunately, I haven't seen Vincent and Theo either.
Enough people love MASH that I'll see it again at some point. Some things just sneak up on you.
