- OK Computer by Radiohead - perhaps the most intelligent rock record ever produced, and one of the most successful musical experiments ever.
- Nevermind by Nirvana - I blame it for killing Heavy Metal, by I can't deny it changed the face of music forever.
- Siamese Dream by Smashing Pumpkins a triumphant hybrid of metal, progressive rock, dream pop, goth rock, and psychedelia.
- Agaetis Bryjun by Sigur Ros - with this album Sigur Ros stole the mantle of post-rock from Godspeed You Black Emperor! One of the most beautiful albums ever assembled.
- Moon Safari by Air - A groundbreaking electronic album with undeniable pop hooks.
- Weezer by Weezer - not a mediocre song on the entire album.
- Achtung Baby by U2 - This made U2 one of the only bands to successfully transition into the 90s, and they did it with confidence.
- Dookie by Green Day - perhaps the most imitated album of the 90s, and one of the few 90s punk albums I enjoy.
- Metallica by Metallica - not their best, but their most streamlined metal album with several great songs.
- A Change of Seasons by Dream Theater - perhaps the best progressive metal album ever assembled.

Huch, I own the Albums #1 to 5! :o
I love Radiohead and the "Ok Computer" is really a masterpiece.
"Nevermind" is also one of my favourite Rock records - and I do not listen to so much rock music.
"Siamese Dream" is also a well done album.
I purchased "Agaetis Byrjun" last week - with 3 other Sigur Rós Records. But I've just listened 2 times, sounds good, but it has to grow
"Moon Safari" is beautiful, though I do not really know, if I really like the computer voices, but I definitely like them more than when I listened to the album first.
So I give you both thumbs up for your top 5 - and I'll try to listen to the other ones.
