  1. OMG I love the 80s. Picking just ten is so hard!

  3. Master of Puppets by Metallica - one of the greatest albums ever, and certainly the best heavy metal album. Heavy Metal defined within.
  4. Appetite for Destruction by Guns & Roses - One of the most stunning debuts ever.
  5. Joshua Tree by U2 - Um yeah, what I just said.
  6. Back in Black by ACDC - the classic hard rock album.
  7. Dr. Feelgood by Motley Crue - if I had to pick one non-compilation hair metal album to listen to for the rest of my life, this would be it.
  8. No More Tears - Ozzy Osbourne - Wow. Great guitar work, epic scope, beauty, kickass riffs.
  9. Peace Sells... But Who's Buying? by Megadeth - Megadeth desperately try to kick Metallica's ass... and almost do.
  10. Daydream Nation by Sonice Youth - a post-punk art rock masterpiece.
  11. Acacab by Genesis - Genesis goes pop but retains their art rock background for a stunning hybrid album.
  12. Surfing with the Alien by Joe Satriani - gotta love that guitar.
  13. 1984 by Van Halen - again, what I just said.
