MasterSmurf, here is a direct quote from your 'Greatest Front Men of All Time' list - "I don't much about The Who, much less if he is still alive or if the band was more focused on Pete Townsend." Now all of a sudden, the Who is one of your favorite bands? And you don't even know if Roger Daltry is alive or not. Well he is, but the bass player, John Entwistle, died last year. I found out about he's death at a Get Up Kids show at the Masquerade in Atlanta. I go to shows, and know about music because I am a music fan. Do you think you are 'supposed' to like the Who. Do really like the band? I don't like them. I respect them, but don't like them. But I digress. I just want to know how you could like a band you 'don't know much about'.

I suppose, I can't stand the Who either I've argued quite alot about them on this site, but I understand that they're talented I just don't care for'em all that much, I mean come on , my generation, sheesh.
The Grateful Dead never has appealed to me when I'm not in an altered state, still I love all music but I think people tend to get trapped in the late 60's early 70's as the height of rock n roll and that nothing better will ever come out, which isn't true really, different styles have emereged to join the great musical epic masterpieces of the past, I hope that some of you at this site will understand this, anyways, just my two cents.
Look at the title. MUSIC you should like because I do. Mind you, it is a joking sort of title, but the message stands clear that its the MUSIC thastI care about. I'm sorry I don't know every detail about thier lives and how thier doing now, because frankly, I don't care. Thier people and deserve thier privacy from people who want to know about every f'n move they make like you.
All I care about is they made some excellant music and had a wonderfully original, diverse sound i love. I don't have to know what the hell Kieth Moon's favorite pair of drumsticks are or what Roger Daltrey's hobby is or what Pete Townsend is up to nodawys to love thier music.
I also do not care about the personal lives of the bands I like, let-on, the bands I don't. But for heaven’s sake - to not know if the lead singer of one of the great rock bands (all-though I'm not a fan), is alive or dead, is just plain stupid. Your the one who made the comment, not me. Before you go spouting off in the future, do your homework. Furthermore, I've noticed you like to get personal when someone doesn't agree with your taste. I would refrain from that with me Jr.
Let's say we all stop performing voodoo rights on this topic and just let it die.

'Most people enjoy making list about the best and worst.' That is from jim himself. So in essence, performing 'voodoo rights' is a big part of this site. I'm not being rude, vulgar or mean. I just think he should do his home work before he goes spouting off like some know-it-all. And MasterSmurf, if you post, and someone disagrees with you, don't pout about it.
