I noticed there werea lot of albums that I liked a lot but the rest of the material by that artist I just couldn't get into or even like. I don't count greatest hits collections or bands that only have one album out.

I can agree with green day as far as albums are considered. I like a lot of their songs since "Dookie", but as far as just one album, that was by far the best. However, I saw them in concert, and they sung their best songs from the last couple years and a couple from dookie, and that was rather enjoyable.

Green Day has a new album coming out,it is suppose to be a return to "Dookie" or a more mature "Dookie". I can not wait!

Interesting...

I know I'm in the extreme minority (and I want to be... nevermind.), while I realize that Dookie broke and defined them, I still think Warning is the best Green Day album I've heard.

Go ahead, it's okay to laugh. I can take it. :)

Shalom, y'all!

I see what you're saying and who can argue with one's taste? But I would strongly encourage you to revisit The RHCP's "Blood Sugar Sex Magik" - one of my all time favs, just a killer album from top to bottom.

I would less strongly encourage you to check out the Smashing Pumpkins "Siamese Dream" and maybe Paul Simon's "Rhythm of the Saints", although that is stretching it a bit. My Offspring choice would be "Smash" - wasn't too keen on Americana.

With Beck, you never know what you're gonna get so it's not surprising to see him on your list. I, however, enjoy him in all his incarnations. Overall, though, an interesting list.
