I've always thought of "The Tragically Hip" as a great name for a band.
I believe it was first referenced in Michael Nesmith's (he of the Monkees) movie "Elephant Parts" as in "The Foundation for The Tragically Hip -- poor, afflicted people in need of jacuzzis,
Lamborghinis and cocaine."
Another band I've recently been turned on to is Smog. Check those guys out Dan. They're really good. I love that guys voice man.
My favorite Church song of what I've heard is Reptile off of Starfish (1988)
smog is great, i love the songs dress sexy at my funeral and cold blooded old times
