This Monday I went to a completely fabulous Ani Difranco concert in Madison, WI. And I fell in love with her all over again. One of the greatest things about Ani is that she's been to all the dysfunctional, messed-up places I've been to in relationships, and is honest about it. But, moreover, her strength and beauty and happy marriage encourage me in my growth and show me that these rough times are a phase, a place for learning, and maybe even the fruits for a creative endeavor.)
