- Charles Mingus - Mingus Ah Um ... B+ ... not really my style but the music screams to be listened to

- The Velvet Underground - Velvet Underground & Nico ... B ... not really my style but I'm sure it'll grow on me. Like a fungus.
- Outkast ... Stankonia ... B+
- John Coltrane ... Giant Steps ... A-
- Fine Young Cannibals ... The Raw & The Cooked ... C ... starts out pretty strong and then falls... completely... apart... nearly unlistenable during the last third
- Natural Born Killers soundtrack ... A ... well, it makes me want to see the film again, so I suppose that's gotta be the acid test for film soundtracks...
- R.E.M. - Accelerate ... C- ...yawn
- EPMD - Strictly Business ... C
- N.W.A. - Straight Outta Compton ... C- ...man, this thing sounds dated...

On a lark, I decided to keep a list of albums I have listened to from start to finish. Will probably be pretty jazz-heavy as I have a huge back catalog of albums I've never really sat down and listened to all the way through...
