You've bought a lot this year! Crikey.

I might just clone this..

yeah, went for cds instead of dvds this year :P

all sale i might add, some under 4.99

What'd you think of the Arctic Monkeys debut?

Haven't heard it all the way through yet, nearly there. pretty good so far, not great.

I liked it. the problem with some of the new set of british bands to arrive 2005 / 2006, such as Arctic Monekys, Kesier cheifs, Little Man Tate and Frans Ferdinand, they have tendancy too sound the same. though i prefer little man tate, Arctic monkeys do have some qaulity tracks. i loved the mellow spoken track "Riot Van" good lyrics and funny in a way. my favourite track is the last one "A certain romance". i like the mix of "real" lyrics about the bands lives that are

Cool, cool. I haven't heard it, I don't really plan too, just wondered what you thought. With this something of an '80s revival in British charts today, a lot of these bands are very similar - those you mentioned and perhaps The Killers come to mind. To be quite honest, I find them all quite overrated (except LMT, which not only are the best of the bunch but are actually underhyped).

Just a quick comment: I think In Utero is the best album you've bought this year. Its held up better than Nevermind over the last decade and a half. In Utero just has an immediacy and intensity that Nevermind somewhat lacks. Almost all the great moments on Nevermind seem much more planned and derivative, as if "this loud chorus is what we're supposed to do now, you guys ready?"....(loud chorus ensues). On In Utero the emotion is much more real, abrasive and powerful throughout the album, and the overall effect is rather moving and startling, much more like Cobain's real-life story.

Just my 2.75 cents. Later!
