I guess Almost Famous left an imoression on ya, huh?

You could say that bro!

It seems that this is more of a modern soundtrack list, which is what I normally think of, but what about Amadeus? It's not really a score, is it? If it fits this category, I'd have to say it really belongs here.

And how do you classify soundtracks like "Help," "A Hard Day's Night," and "Purple Rain"? The difference is obviously the movies were secondary to the music. Purple Rain the album would have been around even if the movie hadn't...same with the Beatles movies. The others? I don't know. The songs more than likely would have come about (except for maybe the Almost Famous original tracks). So if you count these movie/soundtracks, I'd have to throw them into the pile as well, maybe even expand the list to a 10 count.

For me: Grosse Point Blank. I DJ'd in a skanky club in Columbus Ohio (Mean Mr. Mustards and The Underground/Purity Mining and Raliroad Company/Aka Fletchers) in 1988 and 1989, and it's the music I grew up with.

I was not including original scores when i made this list. Amadeus however could be considered because all that great music was made by legends. i may consider expanding this list to ten.
