Hurricane was not exactly what I thought it was going to be. I thought it would be more of an interpretation of his book, and not so much about the people trying to free him. I still thought it was really good and really powerful. I don't think Denzel can do any wrong.

i agree, i don't in anyway fault denzel's performance but certain directions taken in the film i do. Yes i felt the film fell short when it became more of a "who dunnit" set him free film, and i found the care taker characters for Lesra fairly irritating.

it seems we share same views on movies. I didn't like Juno as much as you it seems but cloverfield, wow, so engaging. best experience in a cinema, i was so into it, felt i was there LOL

also i'm big fan of Smokin' Aces and This Is England

Yeah we do have very similar tastes. I like you reviews, by the way. Since our tastes are similar, let me recommend avoiding Jumper.

haha too late on the Jumper front ! saw it and yes it was badddddd. kind of fun in a popcorn flick kind of way but nothing else and barely that.
